Fighting Scene 2

Hello There!
This is another Fighting Scene.
I'm not exactly sure about this one. These are experiments/tests of sorts.
Please tell me your thoughts.
Thanks

An arrow flew at me. I quickly raised my shield, and the arrow found itself lodged into my shield. That wasn’t a stray arrow. Staring hard at where the arrow came from, I immediately spotted someone donning the armor of the opposing side, with an arrow nocked, and a bow drawn to full length. The arrow was pointed at me. Danger! I screamed at myself. I could feel the adrenaline starting to pump throughout my body. Gripping the sword, stained with blood, tightly, I kept my shield towards the archer as I once again stepped forward. Sparks were flying all over the place from the other battles, but it seemed as if this archer was out of place. He wasn’t in the rear guard. Actually, he was barely even seventy metres off of me. Although this was odd, I payed it no mind, starting to slowly speed up from a steady stride into a run towards the archer. He still had his arrow nocked, and it seemed as if he was waiting. Something’s wrong.

Slow Move to Wordpress

Hello There.
I have decided to start slowly moving to a wordpress site.
After it has been finished, I will share the link here.
Thanks

P.S. While I'm setting the Wordpress up, I will continue posting any short stories I do write here.

Sunset

Hello. This is a short I wrote called Sunset.
I may think of expanding on it, but I'm not sure yet.
Be warned. It is extremely short.

Blinking awake, what came into my view was the reds, oranges, and purples of the beautiful scene spreading out in front of me. I was stunned for a moment by the grand scene in front of me: the colours that stained the sky were reflected and refracted, making it just all the more of a spectacle to behold. I seemed to be look at the sunset being reflected over a large body of water; a sea, I presume. There, the sun was, slowly creeping over the horizon. The wide spectrum of colours bedazzled me, causing my mind to blank for a moment. I unconsciously savoured the sight of the sunset.
But it was not to last for long. Although the sun was still setting, I had snapped out of my little trance, and I continued on to survey my surroundings. I quickly regretted it. If only I could travel back in time, I would stop myself from ever seeing my surroundings. I would rather continue watching the sunset while entranced, if only that would last an eternity. But, I could do none of that, i had already continued, and the gears of fate had already started moving. Surrounding me were what seemed to be people.
No, I knew.
They weren’t alive anymore. The blood and entrails flowing out all over the place was just further proof. There was a mountain of corpses surrounding me. It looked just like a depiction of hell. And I, I was in the center of the mountain, at the peak.
What is this…?
Where is this…?
....
Actually, Who am I?

Dungeon Short

Hello There.
This will probably be continued, but it will be slow. Just Saying.
Now, without further ado:

The stars are alive. The mortals would never know; no, they could never know. They had existences that crossed the planes of existences. They crossed universes, blinking in and out of existence. Truly, it was impossible for measly mortals to understand: Although Stars were also mortal, their lives were much, much greater than what is commonly accepted for mortals. And, similar to all other living beings, the stars had offspring. The children of the stars, would go on to create entire worlds of their own. They were called by many different names: Planets, Planes, Gods, Dimensions, even Universes, but, in this Multiverse, one of the original, where immortals roamed free, where only the most powerful would be allowed. In this Multiverse, the Reian Superverse, newly born children of the stars were known as dungeons. And that is from where the name of ‘dungeon’ has spread from. That, is why, nowadays, even in one of the youngest of the multiverse, a different universe, a weaker one, with much less energy, the newborn child of the stars, was called a dungeon.

War Preparations Short

Hello There. This is another Short Story. Again, if you could come up with a name for it, I would be most grateful if you would tell me in the comments.
Now, again, without further ado:

A scene I had never seen before. The atmosphere around me was heavy. Standing at attention with my fellow colleagues, we were all prepared. Our CO was standing in front of us, his face, unlike his strict look when training us; or his playful look when messing with us. No, he had a grim look on his face, a shadow looming over it. We all knew what was looming over the CO’s thoughts. And yet, no one spoke. No, it wasn’t that no one spoke out, but no one could speak out. I wanted to say something as well, but I couldn’t. The sounds just wouldn’t come out. I was waiting. We were waiting. Everyone was waiting. Like that, the time passed. The sun had rose from the horizon to now be proudly above us, sending its searing waves down at us. But we still waited. That was all that could be done.

Slimes vs Horned Rabbits Part 2

Hello There. This is a continuation of the earlier Slime short story, which will now be renamed Slimes vs Horned Rabbits Part 1. I decided to write this to finish up the last short story, and also because I had inspiration.
Well, without further ado:

The Slimes didn’t retreat. They continued to attack. It was as if nothing could stop their advance. The Horned Rabbits weren't doing much to stop the Slimes by thrusting their horns into the slimes. It was useless: they couldn’t hit the nucleus, and only rarely would one be lucky enough to hit, only to have the hit be too shallow, or be protected against.
