Edit 1 (4/28/15) : Small or Big Changes... Can't tell.
I just used magic for the first time. In case I haven’t told you yet, standardized magic is split into different elements. There’s also unique magic, but unique magic users can use all elements, as well as their own unique magic. It’s an overpowered ability, if you ask me, but I hold high hopes that I have my own unique magic, I did have the luck to be reborn after all. If I don’t, I guess I’ll just work hard on as many of the normal elements as I can. There are four main elements of magic: fire, water, wind, and earth. According to “An Adventurer’s guide to the World”, these are the main elements because they are what makes up the physical world we live in. There are also other elements, such as vacuum, space, matter, and energy, which are all semi-unique, and are also crazy. Just imagine being able to choke someone without doing anything just by creating a vacuum around their head. Well, it would take some time to kill the person, but that isn’t the problem here. The problem is this: Magic requires chants, and although there are some rare people who can shorten chants or just not use any chants altogether, they’re rare and are usually aristocrats or families with magic blood running deep through the generations, and even still, it was rare. Now, you might be wondering, just why do I need to know any of this? But, don’t rush, I’ll tell you in a sec.

When I first tried using magic, I decided to start by using water magic, for an obvious reason (in case you don’t understand, it’s one of the least dangerous). But, for some reason, when I started the chant, I just thought about gathering water vapour from the moisture in the air, and the magic I used, [Gather Element], which gathers a certain element, such as water, or dirt in the air, which skilled mages can easily use, as well as form into many different comlex shapes, but the base form of the spell was a ball, was cast by me without the chant. I was extremely surprised at first, and after the wave of surprise came a period of me pulling a blank, then came the celebrations. I could use magic without chants! It didn’t even take much effort! Am I a genius? After learning of this, I started dancing my own small victory dance as an infant. This was something that deserved a small victory dance, after all. But I wouldn’t know until a while later, that this was one of the tiniest surprises that I would be informed of...
