Update

Hello,
I would just like to say sorry if anyone actually looks forward to more Path to Divinity (although I'm sure no one does...)
I'm going to be posting short stories (really short, although it'll probably be longer than a chapter of Path to Divinity)
Just saying.

Path to Divinity 17 (SORRY FOR BEING LATE)

Hello, I'm sorry for posting this late, but I've been very busy ever since school started, and I haven't had any time to work on Path to Divinity, so I've been getting a bit in every once in a while. Also, there's the fact that I'm slowly planning/working on another story right now.
Now that's enough of my rambling, and here's the chapter:

Continuing to try and remember what happened, I felt that the energy was very similar to the waves released by the twin moons. It came to me. The energy was provided by the moons. I immediately tried something that I had read about in the fragments of my memories of my previous life. I started to use the mana inside my body to try and absorb the energy that the moons were letting out. My mana started slowly moving within my body, and I felt that the mana was absorbing the moon’s energy at a slow, but steadily increasing rate.

With my mana slowly becoming more and more alike the moon’s waves of energy, I felt my body once again slowly  changing, becoming stronger, It was truly mysterious. Even my mana was changing, becoming more pure, more densely packed. As the process continued, slowly, I started to feel as if my mana was gathering in a certain spot near my core. As more and more mana gathered, the mana that gathered started to pack together. It became more and more densely packed, until finally, I felt it start transforming, changing into a completely different substance. It was pure to the extent of which the it was completely different from the mana, and it was like a dense enough to be able to store all of the mana inside my body and still have lots of extra space left over.
After suddenly having this strange space inside of me, I started to absorb the energy of the moons at a rate that was many times faster than before. I felt the energy of the moons change my body at a rapid rate, and also felt the strange space inside my body start to be filled up. When it finally filled up completely, the weird feeling that I got from the energy started strengthening, until I felt the sensation almost burning my insides and cooling it down at the same time. With the energy of the twin moons within me, I started to meditate, and slowly, my body started to glow with an ethereal light, and starts levitating into the air. It was truly an unsettling feeling, that only experiencing it would truly be able to explain...

Sorry, and thanks for reading!

Update

Hello, sorry for not updating Path to Divinity, and this is a notice that I won't be able to update in quite a while, as I am spending family time in Hong Kong.
Sorry, and I will make up for it with a burst of chapters in July or August.

Path to Divinity 16

This is the second post for today. Well, there's not much to say, so: Please Enjoy!

When I woke up again, the twin moons of Araet were already hanging up high in the sky along with the many stars. Seeing that it was close to midnight, I was pleasantly surprised. Why? Because midnight was the perfect time for me to test some of my magic, and it’s usually a bit hard for me to stay up till midnight, as I am a one year old, after all.

Lifting myself off the bed, I took notice of my situation. It hadn’t changed much since the last time I woke up, other than the fact that I was now the only one in this room, which was in fact, mine. So, I was the only one in my room. I was planning to practice strong magic, so I couldn’t do that indoors. Taking that into mind, I poked my head out the door, peeking into the hallway. I made sure that there was nobody awake by looking at the lights, after confirming that nobody was awake, I quietly crept up to the main door leading to the front lawn. Slowly opening our squeaky door, I tried to keep the noise to a minimum, and after the door had been opened so that it could allow me to exit, I snuck outside.

Once outside, I was breathtaken. It was sudden. It was overwhelming. The beautiful scene of the twin moons in the night sky gave off the feeling of two eternal, yet unreachable beings, giving off the feeling of being divine to the limits, filled with boundless power, yet unreachable, and untouchable by mortal means. Seeing the twin moons of Araet, I felt something stirring inside of me. It was a feeling like a boundless power was flowing into my body. It felt like mana, but it was different. It was more pure, more concentrated and dense.

It was a curious feeling, and it felt like my entire body was changing, bit by bit, becoming stronger than before. And then the feeling slowly receded.

“Huh?”

I was a bit confused by what just happened, so I decided to look back on what happened, and I carefully recalled the way that the energy changed my body. I have to admit that it was a strange process. It felt like the energy was charging my body, and the parts that it charged would slowly change, as if it were absorbing this energy… No, it was absorbing the energy. I’m almost sure of this. Almost…

Thanks for reading, and if you enjoyed, please follow Path to Divinity! The next chapter has a high probability of coming out next wednesday.

Path to Divinity 15

Hello, There will be two posts today! One is this one, and I am currently working on the next post. If you are wondering why there are two posts, there are two main reasons. The first is that it is an apology for not posting in nearly two weeks, and the next reason is that today's my birthday (yay! -_-)
Well, I hope you like it!

“It doesn’t matter what Arty does in the future, as long as we support him.”

I don’t know why, but I was moved by this… No, I know why. It’s my first time feeling this feeling… So this is what they call motherly love, huh. Oh, my eyes are burning up… It must just be my imagination. I think I’ve already accepted these people as my parents. You might not understand, but I had some memories of a past life, so I wasn’t able to easily accept that I had parents, as I was an orphan in the memories I had.

My mother’s words moved something deep down inside me, it changed something. I felt that I follow my desires, and do anything I want: to be free in the truest sense, in every sense, to control my destiny, my fate. Having realized this, I was all better again. I felt like nothing would be able to change my will, and I once again steeled my will by vowing to myself: “I need to be able to have a hand in my destiny.” Confirming my will, I decided to not add anything to my parents conversation, cause I knew that it wasn’t my time, I could feel that my time would come, but that wasn’t now, I was still too young.

After having understood my own thoughts, I felt a wave of sleepiness wash over me, and I didn’t fight it, knowing that it was for the best to fall asleep at this time, as there are many things in this world that are better off not being known.

Sorry!!! (Summer Update)Sorry,

To the people who actually read my novel, I'm sorry for not being able to post in the last week. I had to attend to certain family things, and I couldn't update my novel, and I'll try my best for the rest of the summer, but I'm not sure when the next chapter will come around. As of now, it's just barely started, so if it's possible, I'll post by Wednesday, but as I will be busy (extremely) for the rest of the summer, please excuse me if I end up missing some chapters. After the summer, I will be back to my normal schedule, and I will try and get 2 chapters a week in to try and make up for it.

Sorry
